Data Privacy

The protection and safety of personal details are extremely important to us, which is why we adhere strictly to the rules of the European Data Protection Regulation (EU-GDPR). The following information explains what kind of details we collect and why.

Data transmission / data logging

Whenever this site is visited, our web server automatically stores and processes information in a log file. This process is carried out anonymously, and no personal conclusions can be drawn. This information is used only for the purposes of statistical evaluation. It will not be passed on to third parties or used for commercial or non-commercial purposes.

Cookies

This website uses cookies. A cookie is a small data file that stores internet settings. For more information about the cookies used on our site, click here: https://www.my-bette.com/en/cookies.

You can revoke your consent to data processing by cookies at any time by clicking on the fingerprint button displayed.

Use of personal details

Personal details will only be collected or processed if you agree to us doing so, e.g. in response to a query. Unless there are any reasons in association with a business transaction why you should not do so, you can revoke your consent allowing us to use your personal details with immediate effect in writing (e.g. by email or fax). Your details will not be passed on to third parties unless this is required by law.

Subscribing to our newsletter

If you have subscribed to our newsletter, we will use your details to send you, at regular intervals, information on new products, current offers and our customer services.

We need a valid email address for an effective registration. In order to confirm that a registration really has come from the owner of an email address, we use the "Double opt-in" method. For this, we log the subscription to the newsletter, the sending of a confirmation email and the receipt of the required reply. These details are used exclusively for sending the newsletter, and will not be passed on to third parties. In order to be able to provide you with relevant information, we collect further details such as your country and the customer group as well as your email address.

Withdrawal and cancellation: You can withdraw your agreement to receiving the newsletter at any time and cancel your subscription.

On receipt of your cancellation, your personal details will be deleted. Your agreement to receiving the newsletter will be cancelled at the same time. You will find the cancellation link at the end of every newsletter.

Registration form

A registration form for certain events (e.g. Future Days) is available on our website. If you take advantage of this option, the following data will be transmitted to us from the input mask: First name, last name, company, customer group, country and your e-mail address. The IP address as well as the date and time of registration are also stored. For an effective registration, we need a valid e-mail address. For this reason, you will receive an e-mail with a confirmation link at the end of the process. After successful registration, you can log in to the event platform via the login button.

The legal basis for the processing of the data is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a DSGVO if the user has given his or her consent. The data will be deleted as soon as it is no longer required to achieve the purpose for which it was collected. You also have the option to revoke your consent to the processing of personal data (see right of objection).

Rights of the affected person

Under Article 15 of the GDPR, you have the right to be informed of the personal details about you that we process. You also have the right to correct any incorrect details, and to restrict the processing of and to the deletion of your personal details. If appropriate, you may also assert your right to data portability. If you believe that your details are being processed unlawfully, you may make a complaint to the relevant supervisory authority.

Deletion of your details

You have the right under Section 17 of the GDPR to the deletion of your stored personal details unless they are necessary for exercising the right to free expression and information, for compliance with a legal obligation, for the sake of public interest or for the assertion, exercising or defence of legal claims.

Right of appeal

If your personal details are processed on the basis of legitimate interests as per Article 6 (1) p. 1 lit. f GDPR, you have the right under Article 21 of the GDPR to appeal against the processing of your personal details for reasons arising from your particular situation or if the appeal is against direct advertising. In the latter case, you have a general right of appeal that we will implement without the specification of a particular situation. If you wish to apply your right to revoke or appeal, simply send an email to: datenschutz@bette.de .

Information, amendment and deletion of your details

You do, of course, have the option to enquire at any time whether we have stored any personal details about you and what they are. You will receive this information immediately. Please e-mail us directly at datenschutz@bette.de .
